Welcome back

Thinking About Faith Again?

If you have been away, from God, from church, from the faith you once had, and something in you is quietly turning back, you are welcome here. There is no lecture waiting, no guilt to pay off, no test at the door. The story Jesus told about a father and a lost son ends with the father running to meet him. That is the God you are returning to.

You can come back

Maybe it was a season of doubt, or hurt from a church, or just years of drifting until faith felt far away. Whatever kept you gone, the door home was never locked from the inside. In the most famous story Jesus ever told, a son wastes everything and comes back rehearsing an apology, and before he can finish, his father is already running down the road to embrace him.

“And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.”
Luke 15:20
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”
Isaiah 1:18

You do not have to have it all figured out. You do not have to feel a certain way. You can simply turn back toward him, honestly, today.

Frequently asked questions

Can I come back to God after years away?
Yes. Nothing you have done and no length of time puts you beyond God's welcome. Jesus' story of the lost son (Luke 15) shows a father who runs to meet a returning child before he can even finish apologizing.
Do I have to feel guilty to come back?
No. Returning to God is not about paying off guilt but about being welcomed home. The Bible pictures God as eager to forgive and quick to embrace, not waiting to punish.
What if I do not know what to believe anymore?
That is a fine place to start. You do not have to resolve every question first. You can come back honestly, with your doubts, and begin again by reading the Gospels and talking to God plainly.
