Four soils. Where will you spend the season? A strategy of seasons. Four plots, the path, rocky ground, thorns and good soil, each with a hidden nature. Six rounds: place your care tokens across the plots, and the season answers with birds, sun, thorns, wind, rain or a neighbour's hand. Harvest thirty, sixty, a hundredfold, then an honest word about which soil is like your own heart.

How to play
- Go out to sow. Each round gives you five tokens of care: seed, water, time.
- Place them across the four plots with the plus and minus on each card. Bare plots stay bare.
- Let the season come. Birds take what lies on the path; sun scorches shallow roots unless you watered deeply; thorns choke unless you weeded; a neighbour adds a token; rain blesses everything.
- Care that survives the season is banked in the plot. Six rounds, six seasons, in a shuffled order.
- Bring in the harvest: each plot yields by its nature and by how much you gave it, nothing, thirty, sixty or a hundredfold, with the meaning of each soil from Mark 4.
- Answer one honest question: which soil has your heart been lately? Receive a word for it.

What it forms in you
Stewardship of attention. Deep care survives the hard seasons; scattered care does not. And it turns the parable back on the player, gently, with a word for each soil.

Is there a trick to the rocky ground?
Yes, and it is the parable's own: give it deep care, two tokens or more, and it survives the sun.
Is the harvest a score?
It is the sum of what each plot yielded. The real result is the last question about your own heart, which has no score.
Do the seasons come in the same order?
No. They are shuffled each play, so every field is a different year.
