Former Christian

If you consider yourself a former Christian, this page is not here to trick you back in or to pretend your reasons were shallow. They were probably serious: intellectual, moral, or deeply personal. You deserve to be taken seriously, not managed. The only thing offered here is an open door, with no pressure to walk through it.

You left, and you likely had real reasons: questions no one would answer honestly, hypocrisy you could no longer stomach, pain that the easy answers only deepened, or a slow honest conclusion that you no longer believed. And now you are tired of being treated as a project, a soul to be won back rather than a person to be heard.

What is true

So let this be plain: you are not a project here. If you left because of how Christians behaved, that is a wound, and it is not the same as a verdict on Jesus himself, who confronted that behavior more sharply than you ever could. If you left over honest intellectual questions, those questions are worth pursuing, not silencing. You are allowed to have left. You are allowed to stay gone. And if some quiet part of you ever wants to look again, at Jesus specifically, apart from everything done in his name, the door is open, and it is not going anywhere.

One small step

Your one small step: nothing is required of you. But if you want, separate the two questions you may have fused: was the Christianity I experienced true and good, and is Jesus himself who he claimed to be. They are not the same question.
