Honest answers

What is grace?

Answer

Grace is God's undeserved kindness, favor we could never earn and never repay. It is the heart of the gospel: while we were still sinners, God gave us Christ. Grace does not mean God ignores our sin; it means he paid for it himself so we could go free.

A prayer was here before you

You stand at the edge of a dark room, feeling the weight of silence. Light flickers through the window, just enough to show the path ahead. Remember the hand that prepared the table for you, even before you knew you would sit down. Look for the light. Amen.

Someone in the family wrote this for whoever would one day read these words. You were thought of before you got here. If you want, a real person will pray with you, by name, at no cost and with no account. Ask them to pray with you.

Take the next step

You do not have to sort this out alone. On The Living Bread you can ask the family to pray with you, ask Simon anything about faith, read the Word, and find a church near you.
