Answers › Hope

How do I find hope?

In short

Christian hope is not wishful thinking; it is trust in a God who is faithful and a Savior who conquered death. In Jesus you are given a hope that circumstances cannot take away, because it rests on Him, not on you.

When everything feels dark, hope has to come from outside us. Christians find it in the God who raises the dead and keeps His promises. He does not always change the circumstance at once, but He is present in it, and He is working all things toward good for those who love Him.

You can bring your despair to Him honestly, right now.

What Scripture says

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

Romans 15:13 (KJV)

“It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.”

Lamentations 3:22 (KJV)
