Will a Church Judge Me?
A healthy church will not judge you, it is meant to be a place for people who know they need grace, not a club for the already-good. Honestly, some churches fall short of this and can feel cold or critical, and that is not your fault. But many are genuinely warm, and you are allowed to leave one that is not and find one that welcomes you as you are.
If fear of judgment has kept you away, that fear often comes from somewhere real, a past experience, a harsh word, a sense that people like you are not wanted. That wound is valid. And it is not the last word on whether you belong.

Look past any judgmental person to Jesus himself. He was known as a friend of outsiders, and he said plainly, the one who comes to me I will never cast out. Whatever your story, his welcome is the truest thing about a church.
