What Does the Bible Say About Hopelessness?

When hope runs out, the Bible offers a hope that is anchored outside our circumstances, in the character and promises of God. Scripture calls him the God of hope and speaks of an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast. Even at the bottom, the believer's hope is not wishful thinking but a Person who holds on when we cannot.

The resurrection of Jesus is God's proof that no situation is finally hopeless; he brings life out of the grave itself.
