What Does the Bible Say About Feeling Abandoned?

The Bible speaks tenderly to the fear of being left, and its answer is a God who promises never to leave nor forsake his people. Even when people fail us and God himself feels far away, Scripture insists he is near to the brokenhearted and has engraved us on the palms of his hands. You may feel abandoned; you are not.
