Before the visions of Revelation unfold, the risen Christ dictates seven letters to seven real churches, and to every church since. He knows each one by name: the one that left its first love, the one persecuted and poor yet rich, the lukewarm one He counsels to open the door. Each page below shows the city, how He presents Himself, what He commends and rebukes, and His promise to the one who overcomes.
