The Questions God Asks: The Questions That Find Us
God is not looking for information. He knows the answer before He speaks. So when God asks a question, it is never for His sake; it is a door held open for ours. Where are you, He asks Adam hiding in the leaves. Where is your brother, He asks Cain. What is that in your hand, He asks a stammering shepherd. Whom shall I send. Can these bones live. And in the flesh, the same voice asks the questions that decide a life: Who do you say that I am. Do you love me. What do you want me to do for you. Each page below opens one of God's questions, sets it in its scene, and lets it do what it was always meant to do: find you, and draw your heart out where grace can reach it.
