The Five Offerings of Leviticus, and How Each Foreshadows Christ

Before the temple, before the prophets, God taught His people the meaning of sacrifice through five offerings: the burnt offering of whole devotion, the meal offering of thanksgiving, the peace offering of fellowship, the sin offering, and the trespass offering. Christians have long read them as shadows of the one offering of Christ, who is both priest and sacrifice. Each page below shows what the offering was, how it was made, and how it foreshadows Him, honestly, as a typological reading rather than a prediction.
