Peace With God
Peace with God is the ending of the war between the Creator and the creature who rebelled. Paul says God was pleased to reconcile all things to himself, having made peace through the blood of the cross. This is not a feeling of calm but a restored relationship. The hostility caused by sin is put to death, and enemies are made friends.
