How this connects to Jesus
Those who serve the Highest with a devoted heart, Krishna promises, he will swiftly lift out of life’s ocean of distress and death. Jesus made a promise with the same shape, and put himself at the centre of it: come to me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). Compare the lifting hand of the Gita with the outstretched hand of Jesus, who says, cling to me.
