Psalm 70

Psalm 70 Meaning

Psalm 70 is a brief, urgent cry for God to hurry: make haste, O God, to deliver me, make haste to help me. It is prayer stripped to its most basic plea.

Even in the rush of need, it asks that all who seek God would rejoice and say, God is great. It ends confessing, I am poor and needy, come quickly to me.
