Psalm 69
Psalm 69 Meaning
Psalm 69 is one of the most intense laments in the Psalter. The sufferer is sinking in deep waters, hated without cause, consumed by zeal for God's house, and given vinegar to drink in his thirst.
Out of the depths he keeps calling on God's steadfast love, and the psalm rises at last to praise, promising that God will save Zion and that His servants will dwell there.
