Psalm 56 Meaning
Psalm 56 was written when David was seized by enemies in Gath. Afraid, he chooses trust: when I am afraid, I put my trust in you, and asks God to keep count of his tossings and store his tears in a bottle.
The refrain returns like a heartbeat: in God I trust, I will not be afraid; what can flesh do to me?
