Psalm 54

Psalm 54 Meaning

Psalm 54 is a short, urgent prayer for rescue when strangers rise up against David and seek his life. He calls on the name of God to save him and vindicate him.

Confidence quickly steadies him: God is my helper, the LORD is the upholder of my life. He promises a freewill offering of thanks.
