Proverbs Chapter 3, Explained
Proverbs 3 is a father's warm counsel to a child about how to live wisely. Its most famous lines urge us to trust in the LORD with all our heart and to stop leaning on our own understanding, promising that if we acknowledge Him in all our ways, He will make our paths straight.
The chapter goes on to commend honoring God with our wealth, receiving His discipline as a good father's love, and prizing wisdom above silver and gold. Running through it all is a picture of a life that is steady and secure because it is grounded in God rather than in our own cleverness.
Key verses from Proverbs 3

How Proverbs 3 points to Jesus
Jesus is the wisdom of God in person, more precious than gold, in whom all the treasures of wisdom are hidden. To trust the LORD with all our heart is, in the end, to trust Him.
