Facing Death With Hope

Facing Death With Hope: For You, or for Someone You Love

If death has come close, yours, or the death of someone you love, and you find yourself awake and afraid, you are not weak and you are not alone. The world mostly hides from death, which is why facing it can feel so lonely; everyone looks away. But there is one faith that does not look away, because it is built on the one grave that came up empty. Jesus said, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. Each page below meets one hard moment gently and honestly, whether you are the one dying, or you are sitting beside someone who is, and points to the One who walked into death and out the other side, and promises to bring you through it too. If you are in crisis, please also reach for a chaplain, a hospice team, a doctor, or someone who loves you; you were never meant to carry this alone.
