Today’s Bread: Psalm 34:8
“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
Psalm 34:8 · King James Version (public domain)
Today’s reflection
Some things you cannot understand from a distance, you have to come close and try them. God's goodness is like that, not a theory to weigh but a kindness to receive. The invitation is tender, almost like a parent coaxing a hesitant child to the table. In Jesus the taste becomes real, bread broken and grace poured out for anyone who will simply trust Him. You do not need to have it all figured out first. Draw near, and let His goodness prove itself in your own life.
Pray this today
Father, as I carry trust today, let this word from Psalm 34:8 be more than ink on a page. Make it true in me. Quiet what is anxious, steady what is shaking, and draw me nearer to Jesus, in whose name I pray. Amen.
