Today’s Bread: John 11:35
“Jesus wept.”
John 11:35 · King James Version (public domain)
Today’s reflection
The tears drip from his face, falling to the ground like rain on dry earth. In that moment, grief holds him tight. Pain is not pushed away. It sits with us, heavy and real. Even Jesus felt the weight. In our own darkness, we can find him there, sharing the burden of our sorrow.
Pray this today
I’m tired. I’m hurting. The weight feels too heavy. I don’t always know what to say. But I see you weep, and it helps. Thank you for being here, for knowing what loss feels like. Amen.
