Today’s Bread: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

“Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.”

Today’s reflection

The old chair creaks under the weight of silence. You want kindness to fill the space, but anger grips your heart. Love isn’t always bright; sometimes it’s just holding on, even when the light feels far away. In these long moments, Jesus whispers strength into our tiredness, asking us to trust beyond the hurt.

Pray this today

I’m worn out today, Lord. I’m tired of waiting and hoping. I don’t know how to love like this. Help me to stay, to bear it all, even when it hurts. I need your strength. Amen.
