Today’s Bread: Matthew 6:33
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Matthew 6:33 · King James Version (public domain)
Today’s reflection
The sun is just beginning to rise. Its light spills across a kitchen table, illuminating the crumbs of yesterday’s breakfast. The weight of concern hangs heavy. Seeking the kingdom feels like peeling back layers of dust, revealing what truly matters. In this moment, I remember Christ, who promises to fill every empty space.
Pray this today
I’m tired, Lord. I’m looking for something real in this mess. Help me see what matters today. I need your strength. Just keep me close. I don’t want to do this alone. Amen.
