The Unity of Religions and the Uniqueness of Christ
One of the most beautiful and best-known Baha'i teachings is the essential oneness of religion: that all the great faiths come from one God, revealed in stages through successive Manifestations, and that their deepest truths are one. Alongside it stands the oneness of humanity, the conviction that the earth is one country and all people its citizens. Christians share the longing for human unity and love across every border, and yet cannot in honesty say all religions are one path, for they confess that Christ is not one way among many, but the way to the Father. We hold this difference gently, and truthfully.

What Christians believe
Christians share the dream of a united human family, and see it fulfilled around Christ, gathered from every nation; yet they confess that salvation comes uniquely through him.
Where they meet
Both long for the unity of the human family, both oppose prejudice, hatred, and division, and both call people to a love that crosses every border of race and nation. On the dignity and oneness of humanity, the two speak with one heart.
Where they differ
We name this gently, but plainly. The Baha'i Faith teaches that the world's religions are essentially one, successive chapters of a single revelation. Christianity, while honouring truth and goodness wherever they are found, confesses that Jesus is not one path among many equal ones, but himself the way to the Father. A shared longing for human unity, and a real difference over the uniqueness of Christ, stand side by side here honestly.
