What is the Annunciation?
The Annunciation, nine months before Christmas, remembers the angel Gabriel telling Mary she would bear the Son of God, and her humble yes, be it unto me according to thy word. It is the moment the eternal Son took our flesh, the quiet beginning of the whole story of salvation.
