What is my purpose?
The short answer
Your worth is not earned; it is given, because you were made on purpose by a God who wanted you here. Purpose comes in two layers: the shared calling to know God and love people, available today, and your particular way of serving, usually discovered by walking rather than waiting.
Underneath this question is usually a deeper one: does my life matter, and is there a reason I am here. The Bible answers that your worth is not something you have to earn or achieve. It is given, because you were made on purpose by a God who wanted you here.

Two layers of purpose
The Bible speaks of purpose on two levels. The first is shared by every person: to know and love God, and to love the people around you. Jesus said the whole of it hangs on loving God and loving your neighbor. That purpose is available to you today, in any circumstance, no title or achievement required.
The second is particular: the specific way you, with your history and gifts and wounds, are meant to love and serve. That one is usually discovered by walking, not by staring at the ceiling waiting for certainty. It shows up as you take real steps, serve real people, and notice what God seems to do through you. You do not have to have it all figured out to be living on purpose right now.
