What Does the Bible Say About Angels?

The Bible presents angels as real, created spiritual beings who serve God, carry his messages, and minister to his people, always pointing to him rather than to themselves. The Bible is careful to keep angels in their place. When an awed John tried to worship an angel, he was told plainly to worship God alone. Angels remind us of the unseen realm, but they always direct our eyes to the God who made them.

Angels announced Jesus' birth and served him, and they worship him as Lord; even the mightiest of them point us to Christ.
