Psalm 91 Meaning
Psalm 91 is a great song of protection. The one who dwells in the shelter of the Most High abides under the shadow of the Almighty, calling God his refuge and fortress in whom he trusts.
God promises to cover him with His feathers, to command His angels to guard him, and to be with him in trouble. He will not fear the terror of night or the arrow by day.
It is honest that danger is real, snares, pestilence, arrows, lions, yet it answers every fear with the nearness of God. Because the believer holds fast to God in love, God promises to deliver, protect, and satisfy him.
