Psalm 80 Meaning
Psalm 80 pictures Israel as a vine God brought out of Egypt and planted, now broken down and burned. Three times the refrain rises: restore us, O God, let your face shine, that we may be saved.
The people plead for God's hand to rest on the son He made strong for Himself, that they may be revived and call on His name.
