Psalm 7
Psalm 7 Meaning
Psalm 7 is the prayer of someone wrongly accused, taking shelter in God rather than taking revenge. David asks the righteous Judge to search him, and if he is guilty, to let justice fall; but he trusts God to defend the upright in heart.
The psalm pictures how evil recoils on the one who plots it, digging a pit and falling into it himself. It ends in thanks and praise to the LORD, the righteous judge of all.
