Loneliness
Nobody Cares About Me
If it feels like nobody cares about you, please hear this gently: that feeling is real, but it is not the whole truth. You matter, you are seen, and you are worth showing up for. The God of the Bible notices the person everyone else overlooks, and there are people who will too.
When you feel like nobody cares, it can seem like proof of something about you. It is not. It is usually the voice of loneliness, or exhaustion, or a season when the people who should have shown up did not. That is a real wound, and it is not evidence that you are unlovable.
You are not too much, and you are not too invisible to matter. Even if no one has said it lately: you are worth caring about, exactly as you are right now.
Seen by the God who counts the sparrows
Jesus spoke often about how closely God attends to the small and overlooked. If God notices a sparrow, he has not missed you.
Being seen by God is not a substitute for being loved by people; it is the ground of it. Because you matter to him, you can risk letting people in, even after being let down. The Living Bread is a place to find people who will actually show up, pray with you, and let you be part of something. You do not have to earn a place. There is one for you.
A short prayer
God, it feels like no one sees me. If that is a lie, help me feel the truth. You know my name and my tears. Lead me to people who care, and let me know tonight that I matter to you. Amen.
You were made for people
The Christian hope is not only about God. It is about being drawn into a family. The Living Bread is a place to begin finding that: real people praying for one another, serving one another, and walking together. You do not have to be impressive, or interesting, or have your life together. You only have to show up, and let yourself be known a little.

Questions people ask
- What do I do when it feels like nobody cares?
- First, treat the feeling as real but not the whole truth. Then take one small, concrete step toward connection, reaching out to one person, joining others in prayer, or serving alongside someone. Isolation deepens the feeling; small action begins to loosen it.
- Does God care about me even if no one else seems to?
- Christianity says yes, emphatically. Jesus taught that God notices even a sparrow and that you are worth far more (Matthew 10:29-31), and Scripture pictures God as unable to forget you (Isaiah 49:15-16).
- I feel like a burden to everyone. Is that true?
- That is almost always loneliness talking, not reality. You are not a burden for needing people; everyone does. Letting one safe person in, or asking for prayer, is a normal human need, not an imposition.
