Jesus and the Meaning of Life
Jesus spoke about the meaning of life not as a riddle to solve but as a life to receive. He said he came so that people might have life, and have it more abundantly, and he defined the fullest life as knowing God and loving others. Meaning, in his teaching, is less about finding your purpose alone and more about being found, and loved, by the God who made you.
A life, not a formula
Most attempts to answer ‘what is life for’ end in a formula: achieve this, acquire that, leave this mark. Jesus pointed instead to a quality of life, full, connected, unafraid, and rooted it in relationship. He spoke of coming to bring not just existence but abundance.

There is a paradox at the center of it: Jesus said the life you grasp at, you lose, and the life you give away, you find. Meaning, for him, is discovered not by clutching at your own life but by pouring it out in love, the way he did.
