Frequently asked questions
- What is Living Bread?
- A Christ-centered network for discovery, prayer, service, and community. It helps people find and connect with local churches and ministries, and helps congregations stay connected through the week. It is not a replacement for the local church.
- What does Living Bread believe?
- Living Bread is explicitly and unmistakably centered on Jesus Christ. It serves the whole Body of Christ, Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant, letting each organization self-identify its own tradition rather than being forced into a category.
- How is our church's data handled?
- Your church controls its own information. We never sell church contact lists or congregation prayer data. Sensitive prayer requests are never indexed by search engines without deliberate consent. You can update or remove your profile at any time.
- How does the AI work? Does it ever speak for God?
- Never. Our AI companion is grounded in Scripture and is explicitly forbidden from claiming divine authority, saying ‘God told me to tell you,’ giving medical, legal, or financial advice, or replacing your pastoral leadership. It points people to Scripture, to prayer, and to your church.
- What happens to prayer requests?
- Prayer carries clear privacy levels, private, trusted circle, church group, or public by choice. Prayer data is never sold, and sensitive content stays private by default.
- How are children protected?
- Youth-facing areas are private by default, with no behavioural advertising to minors, no public precise location, and reporting and moderation built in. Living Bread never replaces parents, pastors, or in-person community.
- Does it cost anything?
- Core discovery, prayer, and community features are free. We will never charge a church simply to appear in local Christian discovery.
- How does Living Bread relate to our local church?
- It serves it. Living Bread helps people discover your church and move from digital discovery into real, in-person relationship and membership. The local church remains central; Living Bread is a connective layer, not a substitute.
- How do we remove our profile?
- At any time, from your church dashboard, or by contacting us. Your church is never trapped.
