Yes, there is a place for you with Jesus in the middle of life, and it is never too late to seek him. Midlife often brings a reckoning: quieter questions about meaning, about what you have built and what you may have missed. Jesus welcomed thoughtful, established people who came to him with exactly those questions, including a respected leader named Nicodemus who came seeking, later in life.

Nicodemus was a respected teacher, established and admired, and he still came to Jesus by night with the deep questions he could not answer on his own. Jesus received him.

“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God.”

John 3:1-2

When Nicodemus wondered whether it was too late for someone no longer young to begin again, Jesus did not turn him away but spoke of being born anew, of a fresh start available at any age.

“Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?”

John 3:4

A new beginning with God is not reserved for the young. It is offered to you now.
