What 2 Corinthians 10:5 Means

2 Corinthians 10:5

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV)

What 2 Corinthians 10:5 means

Bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Paul treats the mind as a battleground and thoughts as something we can take charge of rather than merely suffer. When a lie or a fear marches in, it can be arrested and handed over to Christ, so that his truth, not the intruder, keeps the ground.
