What is the Transfiguration?
The Transfiguration remembers the day Jesus was changed in glory on the mountain, his face shining like the sun, and the Father's voice declared, This is my beloved Son, hear him. It is a glimpse of who Christ truly is, given to strengthen his followers for the road to the cross.
