What Does the Bible Say About Being Tested?

The Bible teaches that God allows testing not to harm us but to refine and strengthen our faith, as gold is proven in fire. Trials reveal what is real, produce endurance, and deepen trust, and Scripture promises that God never tests us beyond what we can bear and always provides a way through with him.

You are never tested beyond what God will help you bear, and he always provides a way through. The question in a test is not whether you feel strong but whether you keep holding on to him, who is holding on to you.

The deepest answer is Jesus

Jesus himself was tested in every way we are, yet without sin, and he stands with us in our testing as one who has already overcome.
