What Romans 14:8 means
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. In life and in death the believer belongs to Christ, and that single belonging steadies everything. There is no circumstance, not even death, that can move you out of the hands you were bought into.
