What Romans 12:1 means
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. In response to God's mercy, the fitting offering is our whole self, ordinary daily life laid on the altar. Worship is not confined to a service; it is a body handed over to God to be used however he wills.
