What Psalm 18:2 Means

Psalm 18:2

“The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”Psalm 18:2 (KJV)

What Psalm 18:2 means

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust. David stacks up image after image, rock, fortress, shield, because no single word captures how safe God makes him. When threats close in, the believer runs not to a strategy but to a Person who is himself the stronghold.
