What Proverbs 19:21 Means
Proverbs 19:21
“There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.”Proverbs 19:21 (KJV)
What Proverbs 19:21 means
There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand. We make many plans, and God is not threatened by any of them; in the end his purpose is the one that endures. This is a comfort more than a limit, because it means our best plans rest inside a wiser one.
