Who was Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini?
Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini was an Italian sister who came to the United States in the nineteenth century to serve the flood of poor Italian immigrants, founding schools, hospitals, and orphanages across the Americas. She became the first citizen of the United States to be canonized.
