ये गुण ऐसे उपलब्धियां नहीं हैं जिन्हें हासिल किया जाए, बल्कि पवित्र आत्मा द्वारा भगवान को समर्पित जीवन में उगाए गए फल हैं। चरित्र में वृद्धि, पहले, उनके साथ संबंध में वृद्धि है।
