What Genesis 50:20 means
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good. Joseph, betrayed by his brothers, sees a deeper hand at work behind their cruelty. Without excusing the wrong done to him, he trusts that God was weaving even that evil into a good greater than any of them intended, and it is the clearest Old Testament picture of Romans 8:28 lived out.
