The State of Faith Tech is an open research project from The Living Bread. An annual, open account of the faith technology ecosystem: the categories, the questions, and the movements shaping it. It is published methodology-first: we describe how we will know what we claim, and we add verified, sourced data over time rather than inventing it.
Why this exists
An annual, open account of the faith technology ecosystem: the categories, the questions, and the movements shaping it. The faith technology category is young, and the public record of it is thin and scattered. A trustworthy, openly cited account is worth more than a fast one.
Methodology
This is a living research framework, not a finished dataset. We publish our methodology openly and add verified data over time rather than inventing numbers. Where a figure is not yet sourced, we say so plainly.
Status
This project is in active development. The schema and methodology are published here now. Verified datasets, figures, and visualizations are added as sources are confirmed, each with a citation and a date. If you are a researcher, church, or founder with sourced data to contribute, we would be glad to hear from you.
