Faith Tech Ethics

Faith Tech Ethics is one of the living questions inside faith tech. Building technology as though people are made in the image of God, because they are. A Christian approach begins not with the tool but with the person using it, made in the image of God and answerable to Him.

Building technology as though people are made in the image of God, because they are. The Christian tradition brings a long memory to this: it has watched many technologies promise to change everything, and it keeps asking the question they cannot answer, which is what a human being is for.

The honest posture here is neither fear nor worship, but discernment. We can receive genuine goods with gratitude, name real dangers plainly, and refuse to give our hope to anything that will one day be obsolete.

For a church, the practical questions are concrete: does this tool help us love God and our neighbor, or does it quietly reshape us into consumers of religious content. That test, applied patiently, sorts most of the confusion.
