What Colossians 3:13 means
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. Forgiveness is commanded because it was first given; we release others because we have been released. The measure is not whether they deserve it but the mercy Christ has already shown us.
