Grief is love with nowhere to go. God does not rush it or shame it. He gathers your tears, He draws near, and He promises a day when death itself is undone.

A prayer for grief
Father, my heart is broken, and the missing does not stop. Thank You that You are near to me here, and that You keep every tear. Comfort me in ways I cannot manufacture. Hold the one I love, and hold me. Give me hope of the day when You wipe every tear and death is no more. Until then, carry me. In Jesus' name, amen.
