Who Was The Samaritan Woman in the Bible?
The Samaritan woman was an outsider Jesus met at a well, who received living water from Him and ran to bring her whole town to the Messiah.
At a well in Samaria, tired and thirsty, Jesus asked a woman for a drink, crossing every social and religious barrier of His day. She had come at noon to avoid the crowds, carrying a history of broken relationships, and Jesus met her with startling honesty and grace.
He offered her living water that would satisfy forever and revealed that He knew her whole life, yet did not turn away. When He told her plainly that He was the Messiah, she left her water jar and ran to invite her town to come and see.
