What Philippians 4:8 means
Whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report, think on these things. Right after telling us not to be anxious, Paul tells us what to do with the mind instead: deliberately fill it with what is good and true. Peace is not only asked for in prayer; it is guarded by what we choose to dwell on.
